In addition to his position as the Medical Director of Hospital Ciba in Tijuana, Mexico, Dr Paipilla is the founder and Medical Director at the Tijuana Medical Specialties Unit (UNEME), an exclusive center for laparoscopic ambulatory surgery and a training center for surgeons in laparoscopic digestive and gynecological surgery. He also became the medical director of the Bariatric Center of the Northern Border in September 2020, an exclusive surgical center for patients with obesity.
